December is the most wonderful time of the year because of the holiday season. But for the alumni of University of the East, the wonderful time of the year rings different.
Graduates and former students of UE, listen up! It’s that most wonderful time of the year to reconnect and restore the bonds with former schoolmates.
Whether you’re hailing from whichever UE campus, regardless of your educational year level, college and graduate degree programs, generation and batches, you are cordially invited to be a part of this highly anticipated annual celebration.
The 74th year of the UE Alumni Homecoming was held last December 10, 2022, Saturday, 5PM, at the 11th Floor of the Tan Yan Kee Academic Building, University of the East-Caloocan located at 105 Samson Road, Barangay 80, Caloocan City.
Participating in this annual event were past and present UE officers, faculty members and staffers, along with this year’s jubilarian alumni-awardee batches, namely: 1952, Platinum Jubilarians (70 yrs.); 1957, Blue Sapphire Jubilarians (65 yrs.); 1962, Diamond Jubilarians (60 yrs.); 1967, Emerald Jubilarians (55 yrs.); 1972, Gold Jubilarians (50 yrs.); 1977: Sapphire Jubilarians (45 yrs.); 1982, Ruby Jubilarians (40 yrs.); 1987, Coral Jubilarians (35 yrs.); 1992, Pearl Jubilarians (30 yrs.); and 1997, Silver Jubilarians (25 yrs.).
Attendees came from various UE campuses such as UE Manila, UE Caloocan and/or the UE Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center Inc. (UEAAI), who were all able to take part in this once-in-a-year event.
They were able to reminisce about the past and rejuvenate youthful idealism by reconnecting with classmates, batchmates and schoolmates – A reconnection with them may mean a new beginning for each one of them.
